1.What is an iris
print?
- An Iris Print is a very high quality photorealistic
print from your original disk file. Generally the price
of an Iris print is $40 and up.
2.Can I get them at F.I.T.?
- Yes, 11 x 17 Iris Prints are available in room D507.
- The cost is $15 per print. Prints are Paper - semi-matte
or glossy. 12 x 18 - no bleed with a maximum image area
of 10.6 x 17.2
- You will need to purchase a card for payment in B127.
- You will need one card per print.
3. How do I submit my work?
- Prints from: Floppy, ZIP or Syquest
- Must be saved in EPS or SCITEX-CT - 300DPI - CMYK.
- All Fonts must be included. If you are using non approved
fonts you must provide them yourself. Academic Computing
is no allowed to give commercial fonts to students.
- if you want crop marks they must be on your disk
- Please indicate:
- a. How many images on one sheet
- b. Number of same images on one sheet
- c. Image flop d. Number of copies
- You MUST provide a B&W Laser proof of each file.
4. What else?
- D507 also will print your files out on a color laser
printer.
- 11 x 17 prints are $5. Please use the same specifications
as with Iris prints with the following exceptions. No
bleed - Maximum Image area is 10.75 x 16.2. Save as EPS
or CMYK.
- You will need to purchase a card for payment in B127.
